Networking event for Germany’s Black entrepreneurs to hold in Berlin

On Saturday, 26 October, the dynamic partnership between Black Business Matters and SIPAB (Strengthening the International Presence of African Business) will present an exciting opportunity for Black entrepreneurs and businesses to connect, share ideas and foster meaningful relationships.

The event, taking place in Berlin, aims to bring together Black business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals to form lasting business connections and engage in discussions that contribute to long-term success within the Black community in Germany and beyond.

The event, entitled ‘BlackBusinessMatters meets SIPAB’,  will feature a series of talks and workshops designed to stimulate conversation and collaboration on the future of Black entrepreneurship in Germany.

Building Bridges for Business

The event is more than just a networking event; it represents a call to action. The Black community in Europe, particularly in Germany, has seen significant strides in recent years in entrepreneurship and business. However, the challenge remains to ensure that the economic power generated within the community stays within the community, to fuel further growth and prosperity.

By creating a platform for Black entrepreneurs to meet, network and collaborate, SIPAB and Black Business Matters are helping to pave the way for a future of economic empowerment.

“SIPAB’s mission is to connect the dots between entrepreneurs and businesses, not only to foster their success but to also ensure that the fruits of their success reinvest in our communities,” says the event’s organizer. “This can only be achieved when we come together, share our resources, and work towards the same goal: strengthening the economic base of the Black community.”

Maithy Mouné, convener of Black Business Matters, says the goal of the business club is to enable Black entrepreneurs and professionals to connect, network and create synergies among themselves. And, therefore, create business/working opportunities for one another.

The event will feature a series of talks and workshops designed to stimulate conversation and collaboration on fostering business opportunities in Africa and the Caribbean. The organizers are also aligning their efforts with three key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): eradicating poverty (SDG 1), eliminating hunger (SDG 2), and promoting decent work and economic growth (SDG 8).

The Berlin event promises to be a catalyst for new partnerships, fresh business ideas and collaborative efforts aimed at developing new ventures. The program will include interactive sessions where participants can present their businesses, pitch ideas and explore potential synergies with others in attendance.

Networking for the Future

One of the key highlights of the day will be a dedicated networking session, during which participants will have the opportunity to engage in open discussions, exchange business cards and form connections that could lead to long-term partnerships. The networking session is designed to be informal yet focused, allowing for organic conversations about challenges, solutions and opportunities in business.

If you’re looking to expand your business, connect with like-minded professionals, or explore investment opportunities, this summit is not to be missed.
