Dr Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has rejoiced with a Nigerian woman, Tracy Eboigbodin, who won the ‘MasterChef Italia’, an international Cooking Contest, in Italy recently.
In a statement issued in Abuja by the Commission’s Head of Media and Public Relations, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Ms Dabiri-Erewa described Eboigbodin’s victory as well-deserved and a product of hard work and dedication.
The NIDCOM chief said the efforts put into the competition by Ms Eboigbodin showed her sense of patriotism and thus brought honour and glory to the country.

She reiterated that majority of Nigerians abroad were hardworking, dedicated and making Nigeria proud in all fields of human endeavours.
While congratulating Tracy Eboigbodin on her wonderful feat, Hon Dabiri-Erewa implored her not to rest on her oars and urged other Nigerian youths to emulate her zeal.
It was tears of joy as Ms Eboigbodin beat other contestants to win International Cooking Contest in Italy on 30 December.
Tracy broke down in tears after emerging winner of a competition at the recent 11th series of MasterChef, Italy.
The international cooking show witnessed the appearance of notable and high-class Chefs who participated in the competition.
