Business leaders and companies shaping Africa to be honoured in Geneva

GENEVA, Switzerland, 13 March 2017,-/African Media Agency (AMA)/- The Africa CEO Forum 2017, the most high-profile international forum on African private sector development, will be held on 20 and 21 March in Geneva and, for the fifth consecutive year, will salute the economic performance of African business leaders and companies.

Every year, the Africa CEO Forum Awards recognise those companies and investors whose strategies and performance have contributed most to Africa’s dynamic growth over the past year.

On the night of 20 March, in the presence of Dr Akinwumi Adesina, President of the African Development Bank, one of the finalists in each of the following categories will win an award:

For the past four years, over 120 African and international companies and investment funds and more than 30 CEOs, all emblematic of Africa’s economic vitality, have been nominated. Nineteen awards have been given, including four prestigious CEO of the Year awards.
