Asamor is an incredibly versatile Cameroonian artist based in Germany.
He hails from Lebialem, South West region of Cameroon.
With a well-lettered background at the University of Bonn where he spent time at the department of music, he has proven his ingenuity by infusing Makossa and Bangwa rhythms to produce a unique genre and eargasmic “Abanda Kossa”.
Asamor’s music career spans over a decade with hits like “Full force”, released in 2002, “Etiorndem” released in 2004, and “Sorry” released in 2008.
His sophomore album was phenomenal with a remarkable collaboration with legend Petit Pays.
Over the years he has released “Lebeen”, “wanderful”, Chingini Chingini , Kolobang, Mugu featuring Strong Bangwa Boy, Bangwi (bottle dance), Dr Coro Coro and Ma jolie Nana.
Asamor is a winner of The Kama Award (Germany) and the African Diaspora Living Legend Award.
Asamor is the president of 237 Diaspora Artists Association.
He has been nominated for best Diaspora Artist at the coveted Cameroon Music Revolution Awards 2021.
