Ngeria’s superstar Yemi Alade has kicked off the first leg of her ‘Mama Africa’ World Tour in the French capital and it was amazing. The Le Trianon venue was sold out several days before the Friday concert.
Alade with her Ova Sabi band and dancers delivered an electrifying 90-minute performance to the pleasure of the Paris audience.
The award-winning Afro pop/R&B artiste, actress and entertainer performed songs from her arsenal of hits. The singer further wowed fans by bringing out international saxophonist Jean Baptiste Moundele for “Na Gode“, Afro R&B singer Dil to sing the romantic duet “Temperature“ and Marvin for the French version of “Kissing“.
The concert also saw breathtaking performance from phenomenal French diva Djany, who opened for Alade.
The concert’s success underscores the growing profile of the Nigerian artiste and it’s sure to open new doors for her in the international arena.
Yemi Alade has performed across the globe, sharing the stage with Mary J. Blige, Shina Peters, M.I, Wizkid, Becca, May D, Waje and Yemi Sax.
