New book on how to have a successful marriage launched

A new book with invaluable tips on how to have a successful marriage was launched on Christmas day in the Dutch city of Almeres.

Written by Pastor Elvis Iruh, an ordained minister of the Victory Outreach International, Getting to know you highlights simple principles that are often taken for granted in a marital relationship.

“Whether you’re preparing for marriage or want to enjoy a deeper union with your spouse, this guide will help you enjoy a relationship built on solid Christian values,” Iruh said at the launching ceremony.

The book teaches how get to really know a love interest before deciding to marry, how to avoid mistakes that lead to divorce and how to appreciate the sanctity of marriage. Getting to know you also explains how to forgive your partner when they make mistakes.

The author, who holds a degree in theology from the Victory Education & Training Institute, is the publisher and editor-in-chief of The Voice news magazine.

Pastor Iruh says he wrote book, which can be used for educational purposes, because of his dedication to helping the younger generation to talk and address the challenges they face in building good and solid relationships which could end up in marriage.
