Survey of Black entrepreneurs in Germany and Europe launched

In November 2021, Sangano Black Business Hub, a collective initiative from diaspora and Afro-German entrepreneurs in Germany, launched its annual survey for 2021/2022.

The survey seeks to understand the entrepreneurship experience of Black-led businesses and start-ups in Germany and Europe. The survey asks a series of questions about entrepreneurship challenges, the scale of barriers to entry for new start-ups and critical areas of support that entrepreneurs need to build their initiatives.

The goal of the survey is
● to determine the scale of economic and employment inequity facing people of African descent and diasporans in Germany and Europe;
● and understand the opportunities and potential of entrepreneurship in strategically addressing challenges facing Black entrepreneurs in Germany more systematically.

Sangano Black Business Hub invites Black business owners, entrepreneurs, and new founders to share their experiences and challenges through the survey form. The findings from this report will be launched during Black History Month in February 2022, at an event that aims to bring together Black and African entrepreneurs and various stakeholders interested in the conclusions and future partnership with the Hub.

Black business owners can complete the survey using this form (here) and follow updates about the results on LinkedIn (here).
