THE AFRICAN COURIER. Reporting Africa and its Diaspora! The African Courier is an international magazine published in Germany to report on Africa and the Diaspora African experience. The first issue of the bimonthly magazine appeared on the newsstands on 15 February 1998. The African Courier is a communication forum for European-African political, economic and cultural exchanges, and a voice for Africa in Europe.
The African Courier Verlag is based in Berlin. With a population of about 3.5 million people, Berlin is Germany’s largest city and the seat of the German federal government.
In addition to the many political institutions, the city hosts numerous German and international organisations, businesses and media companies.
Berlin, which hosts people from more than 180 nations and attracts millions of visitors from around the world every year, is known for its openness and international cultural vibrancy. The city is also home to the largest African community in Germany.
