Kenyan superstars Sauti Sol – live in Germany

Sauti Sol, a popular Kenyan award-winning group, will perform live with their band in Berlin’s Kesselhaus on 8 September and in Cologne’s Sartory on 9 September. This is the start of their European Tour.

Naming a few of their accolades to date, they won East African Artists of the Year (2016 Bingwa Awards), Best African Group at African Muzik Magazine Awards (2015 AFRIMMA), MTV EMA Award for Best African Act in 2014 and were nominated at the BET Awards for “Best International Act: Africa” in 2015.

The sound of Sauti Sol is a mix of unique soulful voices with vocal harmonies, guitar riffs and drum beats to create an energetic rhythm that has promoted them to become one of Africa’s most celebrated pioneers of a fresh new Afropop sound. This new sound has rejuvenated East African music, inspiring a young generation of musicians ready to take on the African and World stage.

Sauti Sol is also renowned for compelling Barack Obama to join their performance and dance to their hit single “Sura Yako” during his last state visit to Kenya. Other viral Sauti Sol tracks include “Unconditionally Bae”, “Nishike”, “Kuliko Jana” and “Nerea”.

The Sauti Sol Tour is brought to you by Bolingo in its quest to present talented African musicians in the brightest light.
